Building a Better Future for the Fourth Ward

I’m running for Ann Arbor City Council because our city deserves high-quality services, expanded housing, and reliable transportation options. As a resident and a community leader, I’ve seen firsthand what we can achieve when we prioritize fiscal stewardship and local needs.

I’ve delivered for Ann Arbor’s libraries, and now, I’m ready to work for you at City Hall.

Aidan Sova, Democrat for Ann Arbor City Council

Meet Aidan

I am the President of the Ann Arbor District Library Board and a proven advocate for our neighbors. My commitment to working families is rooted in my own journey overcoming poverty as the son of a single mother and the grandson of union educators. I know firsthand that the path to opportunity becomes much harder to navigate when the cost of living is out of reach.

My goal is to build a city where the next generation of residents can afford to stay and see their families thrive.

My Priorities

I am running for City Council because I want to ease the burden on working families in Ann Arbor. We can do this through…

High-quality city services: Delivering dependable infrastructure and essential services that reflect our values and meet the daily needs of every neighborhood.

Expanded housing and affordability: Increasing our housing supply with accessible, mixed-income developments to ensure Ann Arbor remains welcoming for all.

Reliable transportation options: Modernizing our transit and infrastructure to ensure a safer, more connected city for families, seniors, and commuters alike.

This is a people-powered movement.

My campaign is funded entirely by people like you, not corporations. I have never, and will never, accept corporate PAC contributions.

Whether you can volunteer your time, host a yard sign, or make a contribution, your support is truly invaluable.
